Lines Wires Carbs

I experienced a hard drive crash this past November. Even though I thought I had backed up everything, I ended up losing a substantial amount of images. Still not sure what happened with the backed up stuff on another drive, but it is what it is. However, I recently found a couple folders with at least some of those images, so I have been revisiting some of them and reworking them. This be one. I shot this at a car show on the main drag in El Segundo, but, as is the case with most car shows on the street, getting a clean and complete shot of the car is nearly impossible. And I only had a narrower lens with me that day, so I concentrated only on shooting motors. This is from a Shelby Daytona Coupe. There were actually some killer cars there that day, but...Shelby.

I will soon have a wood print of this. I'm excited to see how that turns out.

I spied this Tesla whilst exploring the marina area after visiting the farmer's market last Sunday morning. The sky was overcast, but the sunlight was very partially breaking through, making for some spooky, moody, ethereal light. And that makes for some interesting photographic opportunities, like the crazy reflection off this shiny Tesla.
